Arddangosfa grŵp yw Cerdded Mewn Dau Fyd a guradwyd gan yr arlunydd o Gymru Jonathan Powell a'i ddyfeisio gan Steph Goodger a Julian Rowe. Mae'n dwyn ynghyd grŵp o artistiaid sy'n rhannu diddordebau mewn celf gynhanesyddol, y cyntefig, y siamanaidd a'r dirgel.
Mae’r weledigaeth hon o arteffactau wedi’u paentio ar hyd y gofod oriel yn adlewyrchiad dyddiau diwethaf ar y wefr o ddod ar draws ogof wedi’i phaentio am y tro cyntaf, lle mae anifeiliaid anghofiedig yn llamu allan o'r cysgodion fflachiog. Efallai am eiliad gall yr oriel ddod yn ogof.
Ffocws y sioe yw gwaith yr arlunydd cyntefig Ffrengig Iseldireg a esgeuluswyd Hetty van Kooten (1908-1958), y mae rhai o'i luniau wedi'u cynnwys yn yr arddangosfa, ynghyd ag arddangosfa fach o destunau, delweddau a phethau cofiadwy yn ymwneud â'i bywyd a'i gwaith.
Walking in Two Worlds is a group exhibition curated by Welsh painter Jonathan Powell and devised by Steph Goodger and Julian Rowe. It brings together a group of artists who share interests in prehistoric art, the primitive, the shamanistic and the mysterious.
This vision of painted artefacts littering a gallery space is a latter-day reflection on the thrill of encountering a painted cave for the first time, where long-forgotten animals leap out of the flickering shadows. Perhaps for a moment the gallery can become the cave.
The focus of the show is the work of the neglected Dutch French primitive painter Hetty van Kooten (1908-1958), some of whose paintings are included in the exhibition, together with a small display of texts, images and memorabilia concerning her life and work.
