Manon Awst

Mae Manon Awst yn byw yng Nghaernarfon ac yn creu gosodiadau, cerfluniau a ffilmiau yn archwilio’r cysylltiad dwys rhwng pobl a thirlun. Astudiodd Bensaerniaeth ym Mhrifysgol Caergrawnt ac Ymchwil Artistig yn y Coleg Celf Brenhinol, Llundain. Mae ganddi ddiddordeb arbennig mewn gwaith cyhoeddus a safle-benodol, ac mae ganddi ddarnau cyhoeddus parhaol i’w gweld yn Nant Gwrtheyrn (Tu Hwnt, 2014) a Rosa-Luxemburg-Platz, Berlin (Gap to Feed, 2017).

Manon Awst is based in Caernarfon and makes installations, films and performances that explore deep human connections to landscape. She studied Architecture at Cambridge University and Artistic Research at the Royal College of Art. She has a particular interest in public and site-specific work and her permanent outdoor artworks can be seen at Nant Gwrtheyrn (Far and Wide, 2014) and Rosa-Luxemburg-Platz, Berlin (Gap to Feed, 2017).
